Meet Lauren
I am a wife, mother of three, former educator, and self-taught artist living in Charlotte, North Carolina. After spending more than twenty years in education, I stepped away in 2020 to focus on my family during virtual learning. In that unexpected season, I rediscovered my creative side and fell in love with painting.
Nature has always been my greatest source of inspiration. I am especially drawn to the flowers and landscapes of the South, from blooming hydrangeas and dogwoods to marshes, water lilies, and wide Carolina skies. I love the way flowers can be both bold and soft, wild and arranged, and yet always evoke beauty.
My paintings are layered, expressive, and filled with movement. Through color, texture, and loose brushwork, I hope to create artwork that feels joyful, welcoming, and at home in the spaces where life unfolds every day.
